Hello, I am here today because I am telling you why the all blacks are still the best rugby team right now so here we go. 

In the rugby hall of fame, NZ has 25 inductees and the latest one is Richie Mccaw. A quote said by Richie was I don´t believe in magic, I believe in hard work. Many younger rugby players look up to Richie because he encourages the team to do their best. Nz also has the most inductees in the rugby hall of fame. A famous all black player and a winner in 1987 rugby world cup, Grant Fox is still regarded as one of the finest goal-kickers of all time. A very well known all black, Jonah Lomu is considered the best rugby player of all time. These examples show us we have had some of the best players of all time.

My second reason why the all blacks are the best sports team is that when they first started in 1884 for their first 8 games in a tour in new south wales. We won all of them, 5 of them were nil games. We have had lots of great players over the years, we also have had one of the best goalkickers of all time Dan Carter. A downer is that South Africa is beating us in points for rugby. South Africa has 94 points and the all blacks have 92.

Now to the last reason: the new Zealand tours, series and world cups. The first rugby world cup in 1987 we won it and it was a very big achievement for the country. Our second win was in 2011 and the most recent one is the 2015 world cup and Another title that our country has held lots of is the Bledisloe cup vs Australia, we have won 48 times and Australia has won it 12 times. The all blacks have a tour vs the lions the last won was in 2017, the all blacks haven won 10 out of 12. The all blacks have only lost one and drawn the other one. They happen every 4 years so that means the next lion’s tour will be in 2021, I reckon that the all blacks might win the lion tour next year. 

So that was my last reason why the all blacks are the best rugby team in rugby. And the next time you think of the all blacks you think of greatness.
